The Cross Babyfat Drop Earrings are as iconic as their name. Hailed as one of the all-time greats to emerge from Chrome Hearts, their striking look has turned many heads over the years – and been proudly worn by some of today’s top celebrities including Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Bella Hadid.
But, where does the unusual name come from? Chrome Hearts founder Richard Stark coined these “Babyfat” earrings himself. e felt they were reminiscent of his regular cross designs with a little ‘baby fat’ surrounding their edges. In a similar fashion to the cherubs seen throughout classic Italian Renaissance art, the slightly rounder design of these earrings pay true homage to their namesake.
They also make for a stunning gift. Equipped with a uniformly unisex design suitable to complement a wide range of outfits, both men and women can rock these sterling silver earrings with ease.
